Are you struggling with managing stress while juggling increasing demands at home or work, or perhaps dealing with chronic pain or health challenges, or just wanting to address a nagging sense of dissatisfaction? If so, this course may be for you. Through practicing a series of mindfulness-based exercises and strategies under expert supervision, participants will learn to manage stress and enhance overall well-being. This MBSR course is designed by the School of Medicine at the University of Massachusetts and has been extensively researched and field tested for several decades.

This is an intro to get you started on that path.

Dr. Janet Groen will be offering an online 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course, beginning at the end of February. MBSR is for people experiencing ongoing stress as a result of chronic pain, and/or psychological conditions. The program consists of eight 2.5-hour classes, an orientation, an intake interview, and plus one 4-hour retreat on a Saturday.

Sue Lawerence (Nurse Practitioner) and Lucy Weninger (Mindfulness Educator) will be offering this 8-week MBCT based program for women experiencing challenge in sexual interest, sexual arousal and genital pain. Program developed by UBC Sexual Health Lab.
Are you one of the 15-31% of women whom are experiencing impairment in sexual desire, sexual arousal and/or genital pain? Female sexual dysfunction can affect one or more domains of one’s sexuality and can include desire, arousal, orgasm and pain. Healthy sexuality is an integral component of quality of life and influences general well-being, self-esteem and relationship satisfaction. This 8-week group program is supported by a growing body of research and combines mindfulness based cognitive therapy with psycho-education on women’s sexuality and sexual response.
